The Joe Rogan Experience. Play episode. Yes, this is the episode where Elon Musk smokes weed with Joe Rogan, but that's not actually the interesting part of the show. This interview hits on Elon Musk's take on AI, social media, and how he runs companies.

This is the top episode of JRE in my opinion. Alex Jones is a radio show host, filmmaker, and writer. Eddie Bravo is a jiujitsu black belt, music producer, and author. I'll admit this is purely a train wreck podcast, but it's a ton of fun to look inside the insane mind of Alex Jones. People criticize Joe Rogan for talking with Alex Jones and giving him a platform but without us normies listening to his crazy ideas, who would call him out on his crazy ideas.

They share such an enthusiasm for science that it ends up motivating you to learn more about the cosmos. Highly recommend this episode for anyone interested in the universe. Bob Lazar is a physicist who worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, and also on reverse engineering extraterrestrial technology at a site called S-4 near the Area 51 Groom Lake operating location.

Jeremy Corbell is a contemporary artist and documentary filmmaker. I don't know what to make of this episode other than that it is fascinating. Tons of really interesting insights on aliens and the government. That said, go in with a critical mind as the line between fact and conspiracy seem a bit blurry. Megan Phelps-Roper is a social media activist, lobbying to overcome divisions and hatred between religious and political divides.

Formerly a prominent member of the Westboro Baptist Church, she left the church with her sister Grace in November She sat down with Joe and over 2 and a half hours they went in-depth about the experience and what it was like to be inside the church, and now what it's like to view it from the outside. This is classic JRE where Joe asks every question imaginable and the guest is an open book. One of his best podcast episodes. Vijaya Gadde serves as the global lead for legal, policy, and trust and safety at Twitter. Tim Pool is an independent journalist.

It's not often that a social media CEO will sit with someone and withstand a barrage of really tough, pointed questions. Extremely interesting podcast. Mike Tyson is the former undisputed heavyweight boxing champion of the world. This episode made me realize that Mike Tyson is actually pretty smart. Joe does a good job of asking about the really interesting parts of Tyson's past, while also allowing him space to reflect on what it all means. Also, there's a fair bit of WTF, which is nice.

His new stand up special "Kevin Hart: Irresponsible" is now streaming on Netflix. Is enthusiasm contagious? Yes, and Kevin Hart is the proof.

This episode really let's you get to know who Kevin Hart is and in the long-form nature of JRE, you get to know why he does what he does. It ends up being a breakdown of a man who sees his success as the opportunity to do more. And that's pretty cool. Plus he's funny. Jordan Peterson is a clinical psychologist and tenured professor of psychology at the University of Toronto.

You can check out all Dr. Peterson's self-improvement writing programs at www. Currently he is in the middle of an intense controversy that has been documented by the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and several other mainstream media outlets. My brain can hardly process everything talked about in this episode as Jordan Peterson and Bret Weinstein are almost too smart for their own good. Whether or not you agree with everything from the Intellectual Dark Web, it's fascinating to hear their ideas put out on the table for all to critique.

One of the smartest episodes of JRE. He is an ultramarathon runner, ultra-distance cyclist, triathlete and world record holder for the most pull-ups done in 24 hours. This is why I love the Joe Rogan Experience. He has guests on who are just plain fascinating.

I appreciate Rogan's ability to talk intelligently about all of these on his show. Worth a listen! Check out his book "" on Amazon. A podcast about sleep that's actually riveting? That's JRE. Fantastic episode and the guest does a great job of explaining everything. This is a great interview because it breaks down a lot of preconceptions. Shapiro is a controversial figure for sure, but given the opportunity to tell Joe Rogan the motivation behind his philosophies, is really interesting.

Andrew Yang is an American entrepreneur, the founder of Venture for America, and a Democratic presidential candidate. Andrew Yang always came across as distant to me, especially as a presidential candidate.

But this conversation with Joe Rogan took down those barriers and made Yang seem like a much more approachable guy.

I don't necessarily agree with his ideas, but their chat was entertaining. Nice to see some other sides of Yang. In this episode, Bill trails off into some rabbit holes which are actually better than some of his scripted content on his podcasts.

He shows off his mastery of spontaneous pop-culture allusions and effortless sarcasm. While Joe and Bill offer a surprisingly evocative analysis of a Jean-Michel Basquiat painting, their conversation is hard to take too seriously given that they both sport matching bald heads.

Russell Brand is an English comedian, actor, radio host, author, and activist. I was surprised by this episode. While things did definitely get "out there" I was pleasantly surprised by the insight Joe got out of Brand. Some funny bits too. His new book "America Before" comes on out April Some genuine moments here with Hancock and Rogan.

Hancock has some stirring observations, but could use a refresher on geopolitics. Lance Armstrong is an American former professional road racing cyclist and 7-time winner of the Tour de France. Whatever your opinion is regarding performance enhancing drugs, Armstrong's accomplishments are legendary. I like this episode because Joe Rogan gives him the space to justify his decisions to the audience. Neil deGrasse Tyson is an astrophysicist, cosmologist, author, and science communicator. This episode is everything great about JRE.

Neil deGrasses Tyson discusses all things space and astrophysics and Rogan plies him with all the questions we might be too intimidated to ask.

Macaulay Culkin is an actor and musician. He recently started a website called BunnyEars. It was interesting watching the dynamic between Macaulay Culkin and Joe Rogan. While they discuss fighting and Culkin's special someone, there does seem to be an elephant in the room.

I got a kick out of Culkin's website, which has some pretty hilarious articles. All Dr. Peterson's work at. Jordan Peterson is one of the most popular guests on the JRE podcast. His story is very moving. I can see why he connects so well with a younger audience.

Wow, this fellow is not messing around. Jocko is absolute dynamite. If you were looking for a kick in the pants to get yourself in line, this is it. I hope Rogan has him back on the podcast soon. Paul Stamets is a mycologist, author and advocate of bioremediation and medicinal fungi. Check out.
